Alicia Dalton is a seasoned behavioral healthcare executive, author, and speaker with over 20 years of experience in the field. She began her career as a substance abuse counselor and has since held key compliance roles across public health departments and outpatient mental health clinics. Alicia’s leadership has driven integrated service delivery across multidisciplinary teams of doctors, nurses, social workers, and therapists—improving access to quality care for underserved populations.

Her expertise spans behavioral health systems, regulatory compliance, and aging-in-place strategies for seniors seeking alternatives to institutional care. Alicia is passionate about advancing healthcare equity and supporting trauma-informed practices. She has contributed thought leadership as a featured speaker in the Christian documentary Woman of Faith: Coping with Trauma, where she and others reflect on healing through faith.
Alicia holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wayne State University and an M.A. in Healthcare Administration from Siena Heights University. She lives in Bowie, Maryland, with her husband Kenneth and their children David, Dia, Dayley, and granddaughter Alissa. Outside of her professional work, Alicia is an avid traveler, recipe creator, and coffee enthusiast—interests she shares through blogging.
