
Chief of Staff
Dr. Angela E. Hamilton is a seasoned education leader with over 30 years of experience across early childhood and K–12 systems. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, she has held senior roles in school administration and nonprofit leadership, where she consistently drove improvements in instructional quality, program compliance, and organizational development. As Director of Education at Bright Beginnings in Washington, D.C., Dr. Hamilton led the instructional staff, managed a multimillion dollar departmental budget, oversaw federal and state compliance, and advanced the organization’s Capital Quality rating from "Quality" to "High Quality" within one year.

Her expertise includes strategic planning, staff development, accreditation, special education coordination, budget management, and cross-sector collaboration. She is a certified CLASS observer, trained facilitator, and seasoned compliance officer who has led successful efforts in NAEYC accreditation, grant reporting, and regulatory adherence under Head Start and OSSE standards. At Bright Beginnings, she also served as Multi-Disciplinary Team Coordinator, overseeing early intervention and special needs services, and chaired CARE Team efforts supporting children and families in crisis.

Previously, Dr. Hamilton served as Assistant Principal in Prince George’s County Public Schools, where she supervised instructional teams, facilitated restorative practices, implemented data-driven instructional improvements, and supported climate and culture reform—achieving recognition under the PBIS framework. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, continuous improvement, and equity-focused practice. She is an active member of NHSA, NAEYC, and ASCD, and has shared her expertise nationally through conference presentations and state leadership initiatives.
